First of all, what's the story behind Posirock? Being the leader to pioneer a new genre of music is incredibly fascinating.

<Tim grins> As Lenny Kravitz says, "Are You Gonna Go My Way?" free mp3 I feel free to explore other genres...yes indeed but ultimately music affects the total being and the drug-like effects of music that alter our moods can either increase the positive or increase the negative. With Posirock, we can intend to make songs where the drug-like effect from such a "music-drug" is absolutely positive with the only side effects being good things such as hope, gratitude, contentment, inspiration, increased motivation, optimism, upliftment, healing, joy, increased energy , enthusiasm, self-esteem, and more love for others and increasing self worth, self-confidence, yes even ecstasy!!! <big grin>

Allow me to elaborate.

Posirock (a compound word, I bring together from Positive and Rock) would be like rock / pop, however,

Posirock music is intended to maintain an essential positive vibe in all.

Quite often Posirock is inspirational if not simply fun, happy, healing, uplifting, or upbeat.

As a leading Posirock musician I acknowledge the reality of negatives in life. However rather than leave someone down in the dumps with depressing music, we can leave a listener with some hope or other positive element in the song.

So is Posirock the same thing as Christian pop/rock?

No. Posirock does not have to be religious. However, any artist of any religion may be a part of the growing Posirock genre. Plus, posirock certainly does not have to be synthetic platitudes. Posirock artists don't deny the terrible negatives in this system but rather rise above in spirit, attitude, and resolve. We can give the listener hope or possibly even some resolving message.

Some will say you are crazy to try to create a whole new genre of music. Do you really believe Posirock will grow?

This mustard seed could grow beyond our imagination...just imagine...In the words of Yanni:
